PSP2 Touch?

The rumours from unnamed developers at gamescom claim that the new console is roughly the same size as the current PSP-3000, but that the touch controls on the back are a way to compensate for the continued lack of traditional analogue controllers.

The screen is described as 'rich and detailed', although we're not sure what that's supposed to mean. There's no description of the quality or complexity of the graphics.

The original E
urogamer Report claims to have three separate sources describing how Sony is showing unfinished versions of the device to publishers, along with several internally developed games.

The sources couldn't agree on a release date though, with one suggesting the end of 2011 and the other nothing for 'a couple of years'.

Sony has never said anything official about a PSP successor, despite continued rumours of a download-only device with a touchscreen. An unveil at this year's Tokyo Game Show in September has also been suggested by many.

The last rumour though was a rather unconvincing one about a PSP Branded Smartphone, which featured graphics no more capable than the current PSP and used an off-the-shelf CPU.

These new rumours are a lot more believable, but until Sony says something official they're still no more reliable.

Let's Just Hope It Will Be More Innovative

Note : This is just a rumour, there are no confirmed proof YET!
